Giveaway Terms & Conditions
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, "The Promoter" refers to HOUDINI'S ESCAPE ROOM EXPERIENCE LTD. The "Prize" refers to 1 (one) free 60-minute escape room game for up to 6 players at Houdini's Escape Room in Cardiff.
By entering the giveaway, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. All entries must be received by May 31, 2025, at 11:59 PM (GMT). One (1) winner in Great Britain (excluding Northern Ireland) will be selected at random by The Promoter on June 3, 2025, and the winner will be notified on or after this date.
The Promoter’s giveaway is open only to residents of Great Britain (excluding Northern Ireland). One (1) winner will be chosen at random from all valid entries received.
No purchase is necessary. Winners will not be required to pay to enter the giveaway.
Entrants must be over 18 years old on the date of entry.
Employees of The Promoter are not eligible to enter.
Instagram or Facebook are not affiliated with or involved in the giveaway in any way.
Only one entry per person will be accepted.
Each entrant must enter by filling out the official entry form. By submitting the form, you consent to The Promoter processing your data for the purposes of administering the giveaway and for receiving future marketing and promotional materials.
The Prize will be awarded to a randomly selected winner using a random number generator. The Promoter will notify the winner via email or phone.
The Prize is valid for 6 months from June 3, 2025, and may only be redeemed on weekdays (Monday to Friday), excluding UK bank holidays, at the Cardiff location only.
The Promoter is not liable for any failed or lost entries. Responsibility is not accepted for entries that are delayed, corrupted, damaged, incomplete or otherwise invalid.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Promoter’s liability under or in connection with the giveaway or these terms and conditions shall be limited to the cost price of the Prize.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Promoter shall not be liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage suffered by any participant, even if such damage was foreseeable or contemplated.
Prizes are non-negotiable, non-transferable, and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available. If the Prize becomes unavailable, The Promoter reserves the right to substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value.
The name, address, email address and phone number of the winner must be provided to The Promoter upon request to enable prize fulfillment.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond The Promoter’s reasonable control, The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, modify or suspend the giveaway or these terms and conditions, with or without notice.
The Promoter’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
The winner’s name and social media username may be posted on The Promoter's social media channels after the winner has been selected and notified.
By entering the giveaway, participants agree for their personal data to be processed by The Promoter for the purpose of administering the giveaway and receiving promotional communications. Data will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and The Promoter’s privacy policy.
